This includes fit/gap analysis, estimation of work effort, providing expertise to the Joint Application Design Sessions, leading technical design discussions, designing and building the interfaces. This position is also responsible for mentoring the junior staff, overseeing the junior integration specialists during the build and unit testing phases, and to manage the threads of code, configuration and release management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by department.- Performs application fit gap analysis of the requirements and estimates the Level of Effort (LOE) to design and build the interface components of the Siebel application
- Creates Proof of Concepts quickly to demonstrate technology feasibilities.
- Captures and documents the detailed technical design for all the interface touch points. Documents include technical approach documents, business rules and technical design documents
- Provides Siebel expertise to the Joint Application design sessions.
- Leads the Siebel Development Activities primarily around building the Siebel Interfaces
- Acts as a liaison between Siebel technical team and the middleware integration team
- Maintains the build/release notes and ensures the integrity of code releases by working closely with the release engineers
- Works very closely with the functional analysts to provide Siebel integration expertise during functional design and functional testing phases.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis is a lead position with supervision of the day to day activities of the Siebel integration specialists both onsite and off-shore.Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.Education and ExperienceRequired: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience and 5 years of Siebel Implementation experience including (2) full life cycle CRM projects.Preferred: Bachelor of Science; experience with Customer Service, Order Entry/Order Management, and Billing/Collections process; experience with enterprise CRM/ERP applicationsCertificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements- Current Siebel Certifications (8.0 or higher)
- Knowledge of Business Process Mapping and Notations
- PMI Certification is a plus
- webMethods or SOA tools training a plus
Required Skills- Previous Experience with Siebel EAI - Integration Workflows, Web Services, Integration Objects, Siebel Adapters, EAI Transport Adapters, VBC, EBC, Data Maps, SOAP, XSL
- Thorough understanding of Service Orientated Architecture principles and the ability to apply them to create reusable interfaces
- Ability to read, understand and create WSDLs

- Advanced scripting, including creating new business services, invoking Business Service methods, and thorough knowledge of the Siebel Object Interfaces
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle and SQL and the ability to query base Siebel tables to view data (including joins of multiple tables)
- Ability to perform advanced Siebel debugging and troubleshooting techniques, including the Siebel Tools debugger, SQL spooling, and event logging
- Ability to create efficient Business Services that encapsulate business logic and process validations
- Broad knowledge of Siebel Data Model
- Databases/Utilities: Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g, SQL*Plus, SQL Loader, TOAD (or equivalent)
- Languages: SQL & XML & eScript (required), HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL
